MISSION

To harness the power of mobile technology and provide lifesaving health information and services to pregnant women and Nursing mothers especially in IDP Camps and disconnected rural communities.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

According to UNICEF “Every single day, Nigeria loses about 2,300 children under five and 145 women of childbearing age. This makes the country the second largest contributor to the under–five and maternal mortality rate in the world.” This mortality is majorly as a result of: A broken healthcare chain and the lack of access to clean and affordable birth or Delivery kits in IDP Camps and underserved Rural communities, Postpartum hemorrhage (PPH) which is the excessive loss of blood following childbirth. PPH is the leading cause of maternal death in Nigeria and the lack of basic health information, making naïve women believe in fables and myths rather than real information regarding health care. Having identified the causes, we know these deaths are preventable.
